Greetings! Welcome to my new blog/website! I am glad you are here.

I will explore creative activities–my own as well as others–with my faith. Writing about myself is very hard–I am more comfortable asking others about themselves so blogging will become a kind of spiritual practice for me as I engage with a broader community!

The various pages on this site reflect what interests and inspires me and what services I can offer to like-minded people.

  1. Hi June. I was glad you shared about this blog on FB because I DO want to follow it. I think you will have a lot to offer. I have been focusing my own inner work this summer on trying to “heal” my creative heart, and have begun doing a little bit of writing again, but am not at the place to publish anything yet. I’ve been working with Julia Cameron’s book A Vein of Gold and am writing morning pages and working at poetry. I do some dabbling in art, but NOT quilting. My sister, Carol Honderich (do you know her?) is the quilter. I’m thinking about a trip to the craft store to get materials for Mandala making again.

May I add your blog to my “Blog Friends” on my blog? And would it be okay if I posted an excerpt of the above poem, with proper credit of course. If you’d prefer not, I understand.

    Blessings on your new venture!

    Elaine Jarvis

    • Dear Elaine–Thank you for your kind words! Have you checked out Abbey of the Arts? I’ve been “following” Christine for many years and she has wonderful and powerful ideas about nurturing and healing our creative hearts. She has a new book coming out in July, The Artist’s Rule, that will explore these themes.

And, absolutely you can add my blog to blog friends roll. I haven’t figured out how to do that yet …. And, yes you can post the prayer!

      blessings to you!

  2. June, so glad you’re here, and here, and there, and everywhere that blogs can go!!
    Blessings on your creativity!
